Amarin Corporation (AMRN) reported an adjusted loss of 9 cents per share for Q1 2026, compared with a 45‑cent loss in Q1 2025. Total revenue reached $45.1 million, 7% higher than the same period last year and above the $42 million consensus estimate. Net product revenue from Vascepa rose to $43.3 million, beating the $39.5 million estimate, while European Vazkepa sales fell 9% year‑over‑year as the company shifted to a fully partnered model with Recordati. The company noted improved cost efficiency and positive cash flow under its ex‑U.S. partnered model, and remains on track to realize roughly $70 million in annual savings from its global restructuring program. Cash and investments stood at $307.8 million, with no debt. Shares have risen 2.4% year‑to‑date versus a 1.5% industry decline, and the firm holds a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy).
