Leadership Transition

Post Holdings announced that Robert Vitale will step down as president and CEO on October 1, 2026, and become Executive Chairman, while Nicolas Catoggio will succeed him as President and CEO. Catoggio, who has served as COO since January 2026 and previously led Post Consumer Brands, is expected to continue the company’s strategy of acquiring cash‑generating businesses with synergies. The transition follows Vitale’s tenure, during which Post expanded into new categories, international markets, and completed more than 50 M&A transactions, including the acquisitions of Weetabix, Bob Evans, Peter Pan peanut butter, and several pet‑food brands.
