Accretive Merger

Financially, the merger is expected to be immediately accretive to IRT’s 2027 Core FFO per share, with a 5 % increase on a leverage‑neutral basis. Annualized synergies of approximately $24 million are identified, which should support the accretion and improve operating performance. The combined company will retain the Independence Realty Trust name and trade under the IRT ticker on the NYSE.
