Board Strengthening

Calidi Biotherapeutics Inc. (NYSE American: CLDI) has added Corsee Sanders, Ph.D. to its Board of Directors. Dr. Sanders brings more than three decades of experience in biopharmaceutical development and clinical operations, having held senior roles at Genentech/Roche, Celgene and Bristol Myers Squibb, and currently sits on the boards of several biotechnology companies. Her appointment comes as Calidi pushes forward its RedTail platform—an engineered enveloped oncolytic virus designed for systemic delivery to metastatic sites. The company’s lead candidate, CLD‑401, targets non‑small‑cell lung cancer, head‑and‑neck cancer, and other tumor types with high unmet medical need. Dr. Sanders has expressed enthusiasm for working with Calidi’s team and advancing the RedTail technology into clinical development.
