HSA Growth Surge

As of January 31 2026, HealthEquity reported 10.6 million HSAs, up 7 % from 9.9 million on January 31 2025. Total accounts reached 17.8 million, a 4 % increase from the prior year, and HSA assets grew to $36.5 billion, a 14 % rise from $32.1 billion. The firm released an updated HSA cash repricing schedule, with $17.3 billion of HSA cash expected to reprice by fiscal year and average annualized yields ranging from 1.9 % to 4.2 %. HealthEquity also noted upcoming investor conferences, including the Raymond James 47th Annual Institutional Investors Conference and the Mizuho Healthcare Technology Conference.
