Offshore Wind Deal

In related news, Uniper has also agreed to purchase 100 MW from the Gennaker wind project in Germany, a 976.5 MW offshore wind farm that is set to become one of the largest in the Baltic Sea. This deal marks Uniper’s first offshore wind power purchase agreement and is seen as a strategic fit for the company’s growing PPA business. Uniper aims to reach 15‑20 GW of generation capacity by 2030, with 50 % consisting of renewable, low‑carbon or decarbonizable sources. The company plans to invest approximately EUR 5 billion in its transformation through 2030, primarily focused on its Green and Flexible Generation segments.
