Boston Dynamics Lease

BXP signed a long‑term lease securing approximately 320,000 sq ft at Reservoir Place in Waltham, Massachusetts, for Boston Dynamics. The deal is one of the largest innovation‑focused office transactions in Greater Boston this year. Boston Dynamics will relocate its manufacturing, research and development, training, and artificial intelligence functions to the new facility in phases starting in mid‑2027 and plans to invest $100 million in the site. The company expects to create up to 1,250 new jobs by 2033. The lease is projected to provide BXP with stable, long‑term rental income and strengthen its tenant roster in a supply‑constrained market, reinforcing Reservoir Place’s status as a leading destination for technology and innovation firms in Massachusetts.
