Leadership Transition

Barratt Redrow’s Chief Executive David Thomas will retire after 11 years, remaining in post until the end of 2026. He is succeeded by Dean Banks, a former Balfour Beatty chief executive who brings public‑company leadership experience and a strong background in construction and infrastructure, and is seen as the right fit to drive the next phase of growth with “discipline and focus.” The board, led by chair Caroline Silver, has praised Thomas for building an industry‑leading business with a clear strategy, solid balance sheet and exceptional team.
