Leadership Transition

MBX Biosciences (MBX) on Monday named executive chairman Steve Hoerter as chairman and chief executive officer, succeeding co‑founder Kent Hawryluk, who will step down as president, chief executive officer and a member of board. The company said it also appointed John Smither, currently interim CFO, as chief financial officer. The executive changes are effective immediately.
