Capgemini CGS sale

Capgemini announced the immediate initiation of a sale of its U.S. subsidiary, Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS). The decision followed an extraordinary board meeting triggered by parliamentary questioning and calls from French lawmakers for greater transparency after revelations that CGS had a contract with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). CEO Aiman Ezzat noted that U.S. security regulations had limited the group’s ability to oversee certain aspects of CGS’s operations, and that the company was unaware of the contract’s details.
