Digimarc (DMRC) said Monday that it has named Paul Carreiro as chief executive, effective July 6. Carreiro will succeed Riley McCormack, who will stay on with the company as a member of its board of directors and help Carreiro with the transition. Carreiro will join Digimarc from Elemia, where he was CEO over the past two years. The tech company also said it has entered into an equity offering program to help accelerate commercialization, expand market adoption, and support its next phase of investments. Shares of Digimarc were down 1.6% in Monday pre‑market trading.
