Copart Acquires ACV

ACV Auctions Inc. (NYSE:ACVA) announced that Copart Inc. will acquire all outstanding ACVA shares in an all‑cash transaction valued at approximately $1.9 billion, or $10.50 per share. The purchase price represents a 45 % premium over ACVA’s closing price before the announcement. The deal, expected to close by the end of the year, is contingent on Copart acquiring a majority stake in ACVA or on the expiration of a waiting period, and is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals. No significant regulatory hurdles are anticipated.
