FY 2026 Outlook

In its FY 2026 outlook AEO expects high single‑digit comparable sales growth in Q1 and mid‑single‑digit growth for the full year, with operating profit projected at $390 million to $410 million. Q1 operating income is guided at $20 million to $25 million, and comparable sales for Aerie and OFFLINE are expected to remain in the double‑digit range. The company plans to open 35‑40 new Aerie and OFFLINE stores and close 25‑30 AE stores in 2026, while it exited its Quiet Logistics third‑party logistics business to concentrate on core brands. Aerie’s new‑customer acquisition rose 14 % and brand awareness climbed 12 % year‑on‑year.
