Nedap Mobile Access

Nedap rolled out its mobile access technology across the operations of food‑retailer Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize (AD.AS) and its subsidiaries Albert Heijn, Etos, and Gall & Gall in the Netherlands, according to a Tuesday release. The system enables employees to enter office buildings and facilities using their smartphones via Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, eliminating the need for physical access badges. This deployment is part of Nedap’s expanded partnership with Albert Heijn, who has integrated the mobile access solution into multiple office locations throughout the country. By shifting to mobile credentials, the partnership supports a scalable and future‑ready approach to access management, potentially driving growth and revenue for Nedap. Nedap, a digital twin technology company with more than 45 years of experience, serves over 1,000 employees worldwide and operates on a global scale. The rollout across Ahold Delhaize’s network underscores the company’s strategy to extend its access‑management solutions into large‑scale retail environments, enhancing security and simplifying access for employees.
